- Eggplant (Ping Tung & Fairy Tale, we like these small eggplants the best. eggplants like the smoky flavor imparted by the grill.)
- Carrots (Scarlet Nantes, nothing quite like a fresh carrot, sky's the limit with carrots, raw, roasted, juiced, shredded in breads)
- Cucumber (Tendergreen & Strait Eight....sliced up with radish and tossed with lemon juice & oil and a little cilantro or parsley is the perfect side dish)
- Zucchini (Cube of Butter & Black Majic & Latino... we eat loads of this veg.....we grill it & toss with mint and garlic for a nice side, shred it for breads, & eat raw in salads.)
- Cloud Cauliflower (We just nosh on ours raw or in salads, or lightly steamed with lemon juice and olive oil & herbs)
- Herbs (Parsley, Basil, Sage, Mint)
- Beets (Ruby Queen, we eat beets raw or cooked , or try to ferment them.......peel and shred...sprinkle with salt and add caraway seeds, "massage" until juice comes out, allow to ferment for 3-21 days, enjoy plain or add to salads or soups)

Week nine share
Glad to have the heat and humidity back to normal, it was really hard on the garden. Since we are an optimistic bunch, the heat treated the eggplants and cukes real well. Below are the details.
