- Red Cabbage (we've been making big veggie slaws lately, use this as a base and add what you have)
- Chard (try using the larger leaves to wrap up fish or veg for steaming)
- Lettuce
- Beets (golden beets, a summer favorite, raw beet salad with grated horseradish and olive oil/lemon juice is simple and flavorful)
- Herbs (basil,parsley)
- Collards/Kale (we cook thoroughly and add finish with some raw butter and vinegar)
- Broccoli (dont overcook , we like some nice crunch left in ours)

Week five share
This heat is really taking its toll on the soil.....we are putting loads of water on the garden and things are looking good, but we really do need some rain. Below find the details of the fifth installment.
