Week four share

Things sure are moving fast.....the eggplant, peppers, and tomatoes are really enjoying the warmer weather, the summer garden is coming in quite nicely.....below find the details:

  • Chinese Kale ( eat leaves as you would regular kale, peel the stems and enjoy the crunch)
  • Green cabbage ( a short season green perfect for slaw or steaming, or ad crunch to stir fry's)
  • Beets ( these are heirlooms from Italy.... a personal favorite)
  • Lettuce (loose leaf blend)
  • Cauliflower ( we munch it raw, or dip in hummus)
  • Herbs (Basil & Parsley)
  • Radish ( a nice Japanese variety)
  • Peas ( a small helping of snow peas or snap peas)
